13 KM RUNNING TRACK THROUGH STUNNING NATURE
The running track consists of three laps totaling about 12 km through the stunning natural surroundings of the Warndt forest. Start and finish are on the motocross track in Naßweiler.
From there you’ll run a topographically demanding course through the french woods. After crossing back into Germany, natural and man-made obstacles await before you torture yourself over the motocross track in the third part of the running track. In addition to mental and physical ability, TOUGHRUN needs team spirit and capacity for suffering.
The site in Naßweiler offers a demanding track, which, on top of the natural obstacles, we augmented with further fiendishnesses: The Battlefield challenges your tactical prowess, the Dungeon is our version of a darn dirty Haunted House and on the motocross track you’ll face 1100 metres of mud!
NO TIMEKEEPING AND NO TIME-BASED SCORING
TOUGHRUN is an event about fun and teams. Since nobody has to watch their speed, every TOUGHRUNNER can concentrate solely on their running experience. The team and, above all, the joy of running are what counts. Every finisher is a winner.
AWARDS FOR FANCIEST DRESS, PRACTICED FAIRNESS AND BEST SUPPORTER GROUP
No timekeeping doesn’t mean there will be no award ceremony. We will honor the best costumes, good teamwork, exemplary conduct on the track, the best supporter group and lots more. The honorees will be chosen to our best knowledge, but completely arbitrary.
